I drilled the fuel cap flange out. I found it easiest to place the fuel tank skin back in the cradle before drilling anything out. You need to be careful here. The fuel cap flange is concaved to adhere to the curve of the tank. Make sure you place it in the right direction and use the cap(shown here) to help center it over the hole. After you are done, countersink the fuel cap flange to accept the dimples soon to come on the skin.
