Primed Fairings and other Misc Parts

I epoxy primed the remaining aluminum parts. I think this is the final patch, but who knows right? (all priming was done outside)

Flap Fairings -Molded,Trimmed,and Drilled

I spent several hours getting the flap fairings all fitted,trimmed, and drilled out. I had Greg H. come by to help hold the fairings in place while I drilled from the inside out on several holes. It was a real chore molding the pieces by hand, but once again, it turned out very nice.
*You will need a right angle drill for the inside drilling.

Now that everything has been fitted, the wings will now be coming off for the final time!

Wing Root Fairings

Left Fairing. Nice and tight around the leading edge... Inboard side trimmed 3/16" to accept a gap seal. Final drill after the photo is #19

Bottom view left side-looking fwd to aft

Right Side. A lot more trimming here too....
