Upper Longeron riveting begins...

Moving along well... Today Udo R. came over and helped me rivet several crucial parts together. We finished riveting both sides of the top end of L.G. Box Webs to the Upper Longerons. We also tackled the 13 rivets holding the Upper engine bracket, upper angle, and upper Longerons. This would have been a real bear to do solo, do yourself a favor and get a friend for this section of work..

“...do yourself a favor and get a friend for this section of work.” – That sure is sound advice! Well, riveting is a very tedious task. You need to be precise and accurate to fastened the rivets and make sure that they all fit. A helping hand would surely lighten the load and make the work faster and easier. :)

Best,
