I had already primed the strip awhile back, so all I had to do now was measure out and draw a 1/2" line, slip the strip and rib into place and drill out the holes. You want to make sure you have an 11/16" gap on the inside, rib to end of joint strip outer edge. I also drilled out the tie down eye after placing the assembly on the main spar and clecoing it together.(sorry no pic)
