Fabricating The T-405 Tank Attach Angle


Here's a nice little chore. You get to fabricate this guy out of stock alum angle. Vans decided not to give any real directions on this piece, so you're on your own(see plans). I used a band saw to make the rough cut, followed by polishing on the 3m wheel. *Tip- Use the T-410 as a template for the leading edge radius. Do not rivet this in piece in place until after the skins are prosealed and done. No, I didn't prime the inside of the tank, just the external parts.
