Fabricating the Wing Walk Doubler

To construct the wing walk doubler you must first cut the .032x10x48 sheet Vans supplies down to 10x26, then you need to debur the edges and get ready to match drill with the main top wing skin(the doubler sheet is not prepunched). Once you have reviewed the plans and decided which way is up, you will need to mark a line 9/16" from the top of the main skin. Then place the doubler under the main skin, align it flush on the side and under the 9/16 line. After that clamp it down and match drill several holes starting at the inward flush side center. When able, place a hand full of clecos in the drilled out holes and continue on. Be sure to mark the skins as needed.
