Welcome to the Blog!

What's all this?

Well, I built an airplane. No, not from scratch, but from a kit manufactured by Van's Aircraft. It's called an RV8. It's a two-seat tandem mono plane capable of light aerobatics and cruise speeds over 200mph. There are currently over 10,000+ Van's RVs flying and many more under construction in basements and garages around the world. To find out more visit:http://www.vansaircraft.com

I will use this blog to document the building process and show off pics. I wasn't very meticulous with my early pictures due to the fact that I was too busy learning how to read plans and use aviation related tools. Wing, Fuselage, and Finishing kit posts will be shown in cronological order with plenty of detail. -Stay Tuned!
