Compressor Closet


My compressor closet. Its located under the basement stairs. I added an AC outlet and switch followed by PVC air lines. I then insulated the door and side walls with R-19 and cardboard. The noise is not an issue anymore....

Fuselage Building Room


Here is a shot of the center section of my basement. This is where all the aircraft components will come together for fitting and assembly. I have treated the floor w/a concrete stain to dress the area up and there is an air outlet above for air tools. The main shop is in the room to the left(not shown).

Another EAA 1000 work table w/a 9" band saw mounted on top. I also have a 35' retractable extension cord hanging down to the left. I'm sure both of these items will come in very handy real soon.

Black light weight aluminum table w/ MDF top. Rolling black chair and fan.
Here is a good shot of the basement foundation wall. I sprayed it with some leftover white paint to help brighten the room. I think it helps out tremendously.
