Thanks Gordon! I really appreciate all of the support. It's been a lot of work, but I can already tell it's worth it. Looking forward to a visit to Mountain Airpark soon!

JT....There's nothing like that first flight in an aircraft that you restored or built. I think it means as much as your first solo...maybe more. I look forward to swapping rides with you...My J-3 and your RV-8.
So what's your next project? You will go through builder's remorse. Job well done. Matt

Thanks Matt! I'm sure I'll be tweaking this bird for awhile, so I haven't considered a new project yet. I look forward to seeing you at Peachstate soon.

JT, What an awesome airplane. I've spent hours reading your blog and am incredibly impressed by your craftsmanship and the quality of your finished product. I'm researching now and looking to make a decision on building my RV soon. On the fence - RV-7 or RV-8. Want to sell any tools!

Congrats on a successful finish to an incredibly difficult project.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate the kind words.
As for which model, Try to find a 7 and 8 to view, in person, before making the big decision. I'm sure you will find pros and cons for each on the VAF site too...
As for selling my tools, No Way! Ha
